Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging is the only freestanding full-service outpatient diagnostic imaging center in the area that specializes in the care of children. We welcome patients of all ages, from newborn on up! PDI is an all-digital facility, with state-of-the-art equipment. Digital PACS and an integrated radiology information system allow rapid report creation and dissemination. Reports are usually faxed to your office on the day of the exam, often within minutes of exam completion.
Referring clinicians have instantaneous Internet access to their patient's images at the completion of the exam via our Referring Practice Portal. Reports and images from prior exams can also be retrieved with the Portal at any time.
Services at PDI include:
- MRI, MRA, MR Arthograms (High-field - 1.5 Tesla)
- CT (including helical studies, CTA and 3D)
- Ultrasound (including cranial, spinal and newborn hip ultrasounds)
- Standard Radiography (all-digital x-ray, including scoliosis and leg lengths)
- Fluoroscopy (including cystograms, upper GIs, lumbar puncture, CNS shunt studies)
- Simple interventional procedures such as GI tube care, PICC lines, arthrocentesis and biopsies
- Arthrography; MR, CT and Radiographic
Our new all-digital equipment provides quality imaging information at low radiation doses. We welcome patients of all ages — from infants through adults. Highly experienced radiology nurses and pediatric radiologists provide sedation for our younger patients, as needed.
Referring a patient is easy — simply fax a script or PDI order form to our office. If going to our Milwaukee, Capitol Dr. site, fax 414-847-1820; if going to our Franklin site, fax 414-529-3102. Same day appointments are welcome — please simply call ahead so we can be sure the patient is prepped if necessary and to confirm the exam time.
