At PDI, a dynamic pediatric radiology team cares for your patients. Leading our specialized team is Dr. Robert G. Wells, a respected and recognized pediatric radiologist who has been active in the local pediatric radiology community for over 20 years. Dr. Wells holds an Associate Clinical Professor position at the Medical College of Wisconsin and has been a member of the medical staff at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin since 1985. Dr. Wells was recently recognized in the Milwaukee Magazine "Top Doctors" list and is the only practicing Wisconsin Pediatric Radiologist listed in Castle Connolly Medical's "America's Top Doctors."

The Alliance for Radiation Safety in Pediatric Imaging - We Pledge to Image Gently.The board certified pediatric radiologists at our facility are members of Pediatric Radiologic Services, S.C. This is the only radiology group in the Milwaukee area that is comprised entirely of physicians who are certified by the American Board of Radiology in Pediatric Radiology. In addition to advanced training in Pediatric Radiology, Dr. Lundeen completed a Pediatric Neuroradiology fellowship and Dr. Ong participated in a Vascular/Interventional Radiology fellowship.

Our staff also includes physician assistants, technologists and nurses with extensive pediatric experience and an understanding of the special needs and concerns of children. Our staff strives to tailor the imaging evaluation to address patient-specific clinical issues. We provide referring physicians with imaging studies of excellent quality and reports that are concise, timely and accurate.

Robert G. Wells, MD - Pediatric Radiologist

Dr. Wells completed a pediatric radiology fellowship in 1985, and is board certified in diagnostic radiology, pediatric radiology and vascular/interventional radiology. He joined the Medical Staff at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in 1985 and is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology and Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Wells has authored over 80 professional articles and over 20 book chapters. Recently, Dr. Wells was recognized in the Milwaukee Magazine "Top Doctors" list. In addition, he is the only practicing Wisconsin Pediatric Radiologist listed in Castle Connolly Medical's "America's Top Doctors."

Brian E. Lundeen, MD - Pediatric Neuroradiologist

Dr. Lundeen is one of only a handful of radiologists around the country who have completed fellowships in both pediatric radiology (Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, 1993) and pediatric neuroradiology (Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago, 1995). He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and has been a member of The Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Medical Staff since 1995. Dr. Lundeen is involved in various research projects designed to optimize magnetic resonance imaging studies for children. He particularly enjoys the PDI outpatient radiology setting that allows opportunities for direct interactions with patients and families.

Seng H. Ong, MD - Pediatric Radiologist

Dr. Ong has completed residency training in general surgery (1999) and diagnostic radiology (2003). He completed fellowships in vascular/interventional radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2004 and pediatric radiology at Children's Hospital Wisconsin in 2005. Dr. Ong is board certified in diagnostic radiology, pediatric radiology and vascular/interventional radiology. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Ong has a special interest in musculoskeletal imaging.

Sue Knight - Radiology Director

Susan Knight is the Radiology Director of Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging. She holds a Master of Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Medicine. Susan's career in health care began in 1990, as a Pediatric Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. During her time at Children's Hospital, she also led various community education courses and wrote continuing education material for technologists. At Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging, she has helped to create a facility that provides convenient and exceptional care for children.

Dave Horzewski - Radiology Physician Assistant

Dave Horzewski is a Radiology Physician Assistant who is also a Registered Technologist in radiography (1993) with an advanced board certification in MRI. His MRI experience was in clinical and research settings at St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dave has a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Marquette University (2000) and an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (1994). He worked in the cardiovascular surgery department at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW) before transferring to the CHW Radiology department in 2002. Dave is highly experienced in many facets of pediatric and interventional radiology, including diagnostic fluoroscopy, feeding tube placement, lumbar puncture, PICC line insertion, percutaneous thoracostomy and arthrocentesis.
